Of course if the referendum isn’t enacted, we’ll see the same. This country is in trouble.

In order to create a new settlement something has to confer legitimacy. The current process, certainly after today, is not. Almost certainly that legitimacy has to come from the voters.
The remainers are right that there is no maj in Parliament for a no deal Brexit or as far as we know a deal. The Brexiters are right that a remainer legislature can’t keep trying to govern as the executive. In every way, this parliament does not work. MPs should face up to that.
