The anti no dealers saying this is a constitutional crisis is getting a little tedious. It isn’t yet. If they all decided they wanted to prioritise their opposition to no deal above all else they would just pull a traditional constitutional lever and change the government.
They won’t do it because they prioritise other political objectives more. Like the government, their problem lies with trying to find unusual parliamentary methods to achieve their ends.
It’s not a constitutional crisis when you simply choose not to avail yourself of the constitutional remedy to solve it because it doesn’t suit you.
About this Jacob Rees Mogg was spot on this morning when he told @skynews: “the rebels are crying constitutional crisis” because they don’t want to act.
