Multiple news outlets reported earlier this month that DOJ wouldn't prosecute Comey re: sharing his memos: cnn.com/2019/08/01/pol…

The release of OIG's report just make that official.
DOJ's inspector general had harsh words for how James Comey handled his memos detailing his convos with Trump: "Comey set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees ... who similarly have access to or knowledge of non-public information" buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetil…
The inspector general's office also noted that this wasn't the first time they'd criticized the former FBI director for "for acting unilaterally and inconsistent with Department policy" (remember the Clinton emails investigation?) buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetil…
The White House weighs in on today's inspector general report finding James Comey violated DOJ and FBI policies in his handling of his memos about his interactions with Trump: "James Comey is a proven liar and leaker." buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetil…
And here's what Comey had to say about it on Twitter, re: the finding that he didn't share classified info with the media: "I don’t need a public apology from those who defamed me, but a quick message with a “sorry we lied about you” would be nice." buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetil…
