DOJ Inspector General Report has released its report on former FBI Director @Comey's handling of classified info. oig.justice.gov/reports/2019/o…
@Comey The conclusion, which is all I've read so far is not flattering to Comey & says the report has been provided to OPR, the office that metes out discipline for ethics violations. More once I've had a chance to read it.
@Comey Based on the comments I'm seeing, important to clarify that the referral to OPR is NOT a referral to prosecution. Still reading, but the report seems to conclude no criminal violations. No prosecution. It's a lot to read, but this looks like the baseline.

1/ This action consumes an enormous amount of investigative & prosecutorial resources. So it’s important to ask whether it’s a wise use of those resources. Does it remove dangerous people from communities or merely those who are convenient to arrest... abc3340.com/news/nation-wo…
2/ because they are hard at work? Would those resources be better used to prosecute employers who often knowingly encourage workers who lack immigration status to their facilities because they can pay them less? Does this mean there aren’t resources to go after aggravated...
Immigration violators-people with a history of crime or violence who illegally renter the country? US Attys & ICE have limited resources so it’s legitimate to ask whether targeting employees is the use of them that best protects the community & enforces the rule of law.

The DOJ #OIG posted a list of various audit and review recommendations that weren’t closed yet, as of March 31/2019.

The report states that “not closed” simply means that a recommendation hasn’t been fully implemented yet by the applicable department.
