As information and knowledge became more and more manipulated, l decided to move on to contributing to perspective and understanding especially around the complexities of human darkness using long form stories, art and culture as a means of investigating how we organise society.

This is crucial as we see balkanisation of self from one country to another and extreme polarisations in all aspects of life.

This is not to say news and all is no longer important, in fact good media is more needed now than ever. I however want to expand to kind media which

Requires stories to breathe, to have time, context and perspective. It is more suited to my own sense of purpose.

So l have taken many news stories and issues and begun to give them Greek tragedy treatment which allows the length for us all to fall and rise and fall so we may ..

Possibly become gentler and kinder to ourselves and one another.

That’s the background of my gentle segue and the decision not to join in the fray of daily news frenzy.

There are many capable minds contributing to that.

That’s all.
