Comey’s curious reaction doesn’t mesh with ‘reality’ of scathing IG report that just dropped bizpacreview.com/2019/08/29/com… via @BIZPACReview
.@Comey seems to have read a different report than the one released Thursday, appearing to claim the report has basically cleared him.
IGl Horowitz said Comey’s actions, “violated DOJ or FBI policy, or the terms of his FBI Employment Agreement. As described in this report, we conclude that Comey’s retention, handling & dissemination of certain Memos violated DOJ & FBI policies and FBI Employment Agreement.”
Members of Comey's senior leadership team were "surprised," "stunned," "shocked" and "disappointed upon learning that Comey gave Memo 4, through Richman, to a reporter. (i.e. Comey leaked to the media by telling Richman to leak to the media).
