At the #MINDS conference yesterday, which went forward despite threats of violence, ex-New Yorker magazine fact checker Talia Lavin said she was "chased by racists" out of event. The head of security at Sugarhouse Casino absolutely disputes this as do the event organizers (1/2)
who gave her unrestricted press access & said they saw her casually leave with her friend.

Lavin resigned in disgrace last year from New Yorker magazine after falsely accusing a disabled man on Twitter of having a Nazi tattoo. (2/2) nypost.com/2018/06/26/new…

Breaking: An investigation by the state found that @CiderRiot, the pub popular w/antifa militants, had knowingly allowed its patrons to use ‘illegal weapons’ against people on May Day. Report says the owner & a staff person tried to mislead investigators. oregonlive.com/news/2019/09/p…
The damning state investigative report recommends multiple charges against the owner, Abram Goldman-Armstrong & his @CiderRiot staff. In May, I was one of the people attacked by a masked patron from pub. An OSU student journalist was also left bloodied.
State report says owner & its staff provided false statements to them: @CiderRiot security Joseph LeVasseaur originally said he stood by door to check IDs. Video show him pepper spraying & fighting people. Owner said he instructed staff to call police. Report says that’s false.

Shouting “Who’s streets, our streets” & expletives at police, masked antifa militants in Portland commandeered part of the #ClimateChangePDX march today, which had many children present. At one point, a female officer got maced, but it isn’t clear by whom.
After the “climate strike” march ended, masked antifa amassed at a park near the Portland ICE facility. They began to throw rocks and projectiles at police officers.
Breaking: Antifa militants take off running after police respond to them throwing projectiles.

At 2 pm PST I'll livestream @PortlandPolice presser announcing conclusion of investigation into texts between Lt. Jeff Niiya, the liaison to protesters, & right-wing protester Joey Gibson. Left-wing activists accused Niiya/PPB of giving Gibson favorable treatment over antifa.
The texts released by Willamette Week caused an uproar in progressive Portland, even though Niiya also reached out to antifa activists, who wouldn't cooperate. A left-wing protester who communicated w/him in 2017 was ostracized & kicked out of movement for being an "informant."
Investigation exonerated Lt. Niiya of wrong doing. He communicated w/both rightwing & leftwing protesters as liaison. I asked Mayor/Police Comissioner Wheeler why he called the texts “disturbing” & suggested impropriety before Niiya even had due process.

The article starts off with the mentioning of Mueller's past and him being rug up on the carpet for FISA abuses that in some cases predated his tenure as Bureau Chief and some after he took the helm. This news isn't a revelation, I tweeted about it a while back a couple of times
In both cases I posted a video of Mueller addressing it to the public in one speech and in another video he addressed it before congress.

When Mueller took over the FBI there was a severe rash of NSL (National Service Letter) abuse going on. Mueller addresses it in the video.
