@nikenchugget Govt counsellors are overwhelmed, underpaid, and sometimes simply aren't great. Unless mental health is taken more seriously in the public health sector, prices will continue to remain high. We need more counsellors, and there aren't that many. We need better counsellors which
@nikenchugget We also don't have. So, no we can't just collectively MAKE therapy affordable. Therapists aren't exempt from money problems. In fact, when we get into this line of work, we go in knowing we'll make an impact but not get paid for it.
