@CourthouseNews Notably: EPA rec'd recommendations in 2016 specifically emphasizing the need to reduce lead poisoning in poor children because they are disproportionately impacted in comparison to their wealthier counterparts.
But those recommendation weren't mandatory. Data went untracked and now, in today's new report, the OIG says EPA failed to address the lead exposure disparities between poor and wealthy kids altogether.
