I'm not sure what the 10 compromises referred to are, but if this is an attempt to properly scrutinise the Withdrawal Agreement and debate the pros and cons then that's good. That hasn't happened.

Just voting deal without understanding the implications is not a good idea.
Basically the Withdrawal Agreement as it stood locked us into a close relationship with the EU without any serious accompanying mechanisms, the latter being absent so we could pretend the former wasn't the case. The Brexit halfway house. politics.co.uk/comment-analys…
Compromise is fine, and ultimately the way out of the Brexit mess, but not if large numbers will feel resentful and cheated by it. That just stores up trouble. So if you want a deal let's do it properly @SKinnock @RoryStewartUK @CarolineFlintMP @normanlamb
"MPs for a deal" will apparently give a briefing at 10 this morning. Will await their proposals with interest...
