It was circumstances that made her give up her daughter
She was young, inexperienced and unfit to be a mother as at the time she got pregnant
She was just fifteen years old
She slept with a thirty six year old married man who told her all sorts just to have sex with her
Things were a bit rough at the time
In hindsight things were not as bad as she thought
Her parents were meeting the basic needs of the family
But she had stuffs she wanted
Fancy adult stuff
Perhaps she was just in too much of a hurry
Or like her mother said, she was covetous
She wanted to enjoy the juicy stuff life has to offer
Fancy Clothes, shoes, makeup etc
She wanted to sleep on lush hotel room beds, eat in fancy restaurants, have tons of money in her bank account
Love had nothing to do with it
For her suffering was not an option
Not at all!
She was filling out fast and she knew she was turning heads
Every evening between 6pm and 7pm
She would take a stroll around the “rich people’s” estate close to her area
She would dress in skimpy, suggestive and revealing clothes
Nobody taught or influenced her
It was all her...
She knew she would either catch a big fish or be discovered by her parents
The consequences of being discovered was her father’s flogging and her mother’s tears
But her appetite for a good life outweighs all that
For how long would she share a room with four other siblings?
Her first catch was a playboy
He gave her a lift one evening and purred
She didn’t play hardball
She needed him more than he needed her
It was her game
He was her alternate reality
Her escape
She became a truant
She left home daily in uniform but his flat was her school
It took her two years to outgrow him
She had her sight set on bigger hunters
He was a hustler, making periodic kills
She wanted more!
He taught her a lot about sex and the ways of men
That was when she met her rich married guy in the supermarket
There was something about him...
They were having sex in his car at the beginning
She didn’t ask him for anything
Decent married guys are always overcompensating out of guilt
He felt he was taking advantage of her
Then she got pregnant!
He father disowned her
Her mother cried...
Her man rented a flat for her
Two days after she had the baby
His wife came visiting
She said “It is either you give us your baby and move on with your life or you keep the baby and run mad within seven days! Then I will take the baby!
His wife was a witch!
After the visit sleep and rest became a struggle!
She gave up the baby!
She had ridden the roller coaster of life and fell flat on her face
She returned to school
Years later
She got married
But she couldn’t conceive!
She went everywhere!
Prophets said “unless your child comes into your home, you will never have another!”
She tried to locate him and her daughter
But it seemed they had vanished into thin air
People said “They had relocated abroad”
She reached out to the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt
“Why is my past holding my future to ransome?” She asked
He told her “Jesus” is a game changer!
They exchanged views for a while on Twitter
One Friday in April, she came for his vigil with her husband
She wanted to try out the alternate reality
They arrived around midnight
The vigil was well underway
She gave her life to Jesus that morning
Blind faith & a leap all at once
She left afterwards
She had been filled with the Holy Spirit and hands had been laid on her for healing
Her husband was not a “man of God” chasing guy
She practically had to drag him to the vigil with her
Three months later she was pregnant!
13 years of delay was broken
