When challenged by Joe Biden that assault weapons cannot be banned with an executive order, Kamala Harris's romancing of Biden while simultaneously trying to kneecap him with her coquettish, "Hey Joe! ... Let us try to say YES WE CAN" was creepy as hell.
Joe Biden has proven himself to be the most inarticulate candidate on stage today. He starts every sentence without having any idea as to how he is going to end it.
Amy Klobuchar just re-emphasized for the nth time she is from the Midwest. I think she is making a pitch for being chosen as a running mate of whoever wins the nomination.
As for the Democratic nomination, it's Elizabeth Warren's race to lose at this point. Biden is done. Dem establishment will never let Bernie win. Dem establishment doesn't like Warren either (especially Obama acolytes), but they may end up with no choice but to get behind her.

The correction that recants the whole story as a vicious farce is no lifeline. It is a vindication that NY Times is rotten to the core.
[Please note the so called correction was part of the original story. NYT editors edited it out to gin up an artificial scandal that never was.]

Add to this the fact that the chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee had offered to fly over to her town to speak with her if she preferred. Apparently, her lawyer decided not to inform Dr. Ford of the offer. The whole damn thing was a scripted charade.

A lawyer for Bob Baffert, who trained the 2018 Triple Crown winner Justify, said environmental contamination, not doping, was the cause of the racehorse’s failed drug test.

Scopolamine can occur naturally in jimson weed, which occasionally has been found in horse feed or bedding materials.

The quantity of the drug found in Justify suggested it was not the result of feed or bedding contamination and was intended to enhance performance.
Corruption In California

NY Times reports that California Horse Racing Board apparently did not follow its own procedures and ultimately closed the investigation without ever disclosing the positive drug test result to the public.

Critically important here is that #Biden demanded an apology from #Booker and his wife said on a TV special orchestrated by Biden that "America didn't buy it" about #Harris saying exactly this. Biden's team called Harris "slippery and slick." "Jungle" is such a dog whistle, too.
Why on Earth would you want to promote a candidate with questionable history on race when that is a key issue with Trump? No one is claiming #Biden = Trump, but anyone can hear the debate question right now. And this gives cover for racist white voters.
Biden has consistently asserted "everyone" knows he was in the forefront on Civil Rights, but in fact, no one knows that. There are numerous videos of Biden saying things most would consider questionable at best. Democrats need the strongest candidate, not the most vulnerable.

Connor has the sudden thought, as Hank's hands hover uncertainly over the open panel on his inner thigh, that he may not have thought this through correctly. He'd considered it far too many times, preconstructing various outcomes, without taking his own feelings into account.
He's used to considering the potential feelings of others. His own feelings, though, are more uncertain and confusing; he hadn't truly wondered what it might feel like to have Hank's hands inside him until the moment before it happens, when it's too late to reconsider.
It's this, more than any worry or admonishments from Hank, that makes Connor wish he'd been more careful earlier, to prevent putting him in this situation in the first place.

(THREAD) MAJOR BREAKING NEWS: Mike Flynn will plead guilty to Making False Statements at 10:30 AM EST today (Friday). This is the biggest development in the Russia probe so far. This thread explains what it all means, and will be updated throughout the day. Please read and share.
1/ First, it's important to understand that Mueller has entered into a plea deal with Flynn in which Flynn pleads guilty to far less than the available evidence suggests he could be charged with. This indicates that he has cut a deal with Mueller to cooperate in the Russia probe.
2/ We've already seen Mueller do this once before in the probe, with George Papadopoulos—who was charged with the same crime as Flynn, Making False Statements, to secure his cooperation with the Russia probe. The Papadopoulos plea affidavit emphasized facts were being left out.
