That @MIT President has not previously - in his 3 letters to the community on the Jeffrey Epstein fiasco - been able to divulge that he signed a thank you letter to Epstein for his donations to MIT, does not speak well to candor. nytimes.com/2019/09/12/bus…
@MIT Even more awful, Reid Hoffman - LinkedIn founder - admitted to having fundraised from Epstein on behalf of Media Lab, up to 2015.

In 2017, Hoffman also funded the Disobedience Award at the @MediaLab which in 2018 went to leaders in #MeToo and #MeTooSTEM.
@MIT @medialab Reid Hoffman, who should have spoken before now.

Everyone should have spoken before now. axios.com/reid-hoffman-j…
@MIT @medialab Dear MIT Professors: If any of you have taken any anonymous donations from Jeffrey Epstein and you STILL HAVE NOT COME FORWARD, I strongly recommend you do so RIGHT NOW.

Like, immediately. No, not tomorrow. Now.
@MIT @medialab If you're following the Epstein/@MIT: this is an expose of what has been revealed *after* Joi Ito resigned. Like: where the Black ($5.5M) and Gates ($2M) donations came from; internal emails abt them; how Epstein controlled their use at @medialab axios.com/newsletters/ax…
@MIT @medialab .@MIT @Medialab Professor Neri Oxman describes how, Oct 2015, then-Director Ito asked her to present her work to Jeffrey Epstein during his visit to the ML. Her group subsequently received $125K, which she regrets.

@MIT @medialab Some may need some financial context: how much is $125K to a research group? It's about enough to pay the salary of a 5-year PhD student - but not for their research costs. So, it's somewhere between 25% and 50% of the total cost of funding a single PhD student.
@MIT @medialab Perhaps the most unsettling new revelation in @fernandesglobe's piece was this: it appears to be a threat, directed at Joi Ito, to tell all, from Oxman's spouse.

The problem that raises: it's pretty clear, all has not been told. bostonglobe.com/metro/2019/09/…
@MIT @medialab @fernandesglobe .@MIT Students call for:

* resignation of President Reif
* full disclosure of Epstein ties
* an end to anonymous donations
