Well, here’s a wild little story. Did you catch the @greenpeaceusa protest in Houston on debate day? They shut down the Hartman Bridge, a big shipping channel, in a #PeopleVsOil protest to urge candidates to “hold the fossil fuel industry accountable.” houstonpublicmedia.org/articles/news/… 
Welllll, despite the fact that pretty much everyone said this wasn’t a big problem, Harris County DA @kimoggforda decided to go the Trump/Barr route and prosecute the heck out of the protestors, including the spotters who were watching for safety. reuters.com/article/us-hou…
Now, & here’s some FRIDAY NIGHT LEGAL NEWS: We at @Justice_Collab have learned @kimoggforda’s @HarrisCountyDAO is seeking an absurd $100,000 bond for at least one of the protesters. These environmental activists staged a nonviolent protest; there’s no excuse for this high bail.
