Here’s a great insight into how dismissives operate – they muster up their courage inside the echo chamber but their courage fails them in person, so afterwards they have to make up falsehoods to explain why they failed to take the opportunity to “prove me wrong”.
I take q’s via @polleverywhere when I can as it allows people who feel shy to participate in person, and it prioritises the q’s most people want the answers to. However, I always make myself available to answer individual q’s afterwards, which tonight included ~10-12 more people.
(I would have done more, but as this was the 29th of 29 events in five days, when there was a lull after the first 10-12 people I figured it was time to let my exhausted bones call it a week! 😁)
Needless to say, this man was not among the 10 to 12 people.
