@trevdick @CarolineLucas Sadly Caroline has not thought this through. We support a PV as the best way forward now. In a GE we are entitled to be clear where we stand if we WON an overall majority. Our mandate would be clear to revoke under those circumstances.

@trevdick @CarolineLucas Our Policy is to stop Brexit. How could we in all conscience go into a GE to stop Brexit and if we won a mandate to govern, then say "OK you have chosen us to lead the country knowing we want to remain, we are now going to have another referendum". It's incoherent. 2/
@trevdick @CarolineLucas Finally if no deal is still potentially happening as Johnson wants. She and all others who favour a PV now may have quickly to decide that revocation is the only option. That may be coming down the the line very quickly.
