A shame there’s no official drinks do after #Sprint19. ‘Daily mail problem’ I guess. When ministers and press say ‘gov needs to be more like the private sector’ they should realise the private sector knows the value of celebration & networking far outweighs cost of glass of wine
The people there today, with all they’ve been working on, really deserved to be able to celebrate together. Some big achievements and a lot of stress to handle.
Also, great chance to get x-gov groups connecting.
Instead we’ve all dispersed with ppl we know already in small groups
By the way this is meant as no criticism of the organisation of #Sprint19 at all - it was *superbly* done. My criticism is of the climate Civil Servants have to work in. Being told to be more like private sector but not allowed to do what the private sector does to be like it is
