‘A whistleblower complaint about President Trump made by an intelligence official centers on Ukraine, according to two people familiar with the matter’ washingtonpost.com/national-secur…
NYT also reporting the whistleblower directly related to discussions on Ukraine: ‘At least part of the allegation deals with Ukraine, two people familiar with it said.’ nytimes.com/2019/09/19/us/…
This was just two weeks ago, and deserves far more headlines than it got:
Add this to the giant pile of evidence that Rudy Giuliani has constantly, consistently undercut U.S. interests in Eastern Europe over the past two years. thinkprogress.org/rudy-giuliani-…
Reminder that the investigation Giuliani has been trying to push into Biden in Ukraine is as insane as you think. washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/…
Giuliani actually expanded his claims against Biden just a couple days ago, trying to link him to some unnamed pro-Russian oligarch(??):
Needless to say, trying to force another government to open an investigation into a U.S. presidential rival is unprecedented in American history.
Everyone should tune into Giuliani on CNN right now. This is nuts. “You want to cover some ridiculous charge that I urged the Ukrainian government to investigate corruption. Well I did. And I’m proud of it.”
More from Giuliani (who refers to Ukraine as “the Ukraine”):

“I did what I did on my own. And then I told [Trump] about it afterward. Because I’m his lawyer. And I know how to investigate.”
Giuliani’s still going: “I don’t have to give you the proof! Go read it! It’s written in books! You just won’t read it! It’s all over the Internet! Go read it! I have the proof.”
Very much some Grandpa-Simpson-yelling-at-a-cloud vibes going on tonight.
Also: Any number of foreign governments just watched POTUS’s lawyer openly admit he’s trying to get a foreign government to investigate a presidential rival. And others will be far more willing to than Kyiv.
Gotta say, when I was taking a grad school course five years ago on Ukrainian foreign policy, this is... not how I imagined things going.
Giuliani is now continuing to share his thoughts on Twitter:
Giuliani was also on Fox News tonight, talking about the exact same things, plus... George Soros, apparently.
And here’s Giuliani watching that Giuliani interview:
My write-up on everything we saw from Giuliani last night—and why the floodgates for foreign interference in the U.S. are, thanks to him, now open. thedailybeast.com/rudy-giuliani-…
