I was trying to sleep but remember this wild story of a interaction I had years ago when starting my YouTube.

So I must have been around 20k subs a little boii, and at one point my Skype (yeah that's how long ago it was) was really not difficult to find-

So one day I got a friend request and so obviously back then I added it no questions asked.

And literally seconds after I added them they started bombarding me with worrying messages and threats. "How fucking dare you block me, we were having a conversation?!"

I was so confused, like wtf is happening right now and who is this person. But it seemed genuine, so I offered to get on call with the person to talk to them about it. (Not sure why)

Anyway, I get on call with them, turns out they thought I had been in a relationship with them

FOR 2 MONTHS THEY THOUGHT I WAS THEIR BOYFRIEND. They apparently voice called and all, apparently this dude sounded so much like me that apparently it fucking worked.

So it was brutal, but hearing in someone's voice that realisation that they had been catfished was wild.

Anyway, I asked about this person as naturally I want this person to stop doing this.

So they explain to me that I reached out to them on my "alternative" YouTube account because obviously I don't use my main to watch videos they told me.

I was like nah nah I am too lazy for that, but show me this alternative channel.

This channel was filled with Pokémon videos that looked like they had been captured on a phone, the banner was Groudon.

Like how the fuck you believing this woman?

Anyway I remember just sitting on call with them for like 30min just to make sure they're okay, and it was just a wild time. Figured you'd like to know this story.

Also YouTube this is why we need verified fuck marks just saying 🤷‍♀️
