I have more than my fair share of experience dealing with the dishonest, sleazy narratives narcissists spread.
There is an art to responding to them:
Don’t.

He thinks he can trade barbs with Trump and win.

Let me put an even sharper point on it:
When you say nothing, the public sees only the pig being an a**hole.
When you try to defeat their smears by clapping back and pleading your case, the public only sees two people fighting.
Mudfights favor only the pig.
