The law has won a local victory over the kleptofascists. But they have strengthened their position in their larger struggle to undermine democracy. Cummings has made the role of the judiciary a matter of bitter political contention. That is excellent news for kleptofascism.
The central tactic of international kleptofascism is to undermine confidence and trust in democracy and the institutions and knowledge that underpin it. As democracy and the rule of law weakens the scope for rule by brute wealth & power grows.
The ideological basis for the kleptocratic element of kleptofascism was formulated by William Rees-Mogg and immensely influential economist James Buchanan, who portrayed democracies as parasites preying on the wealth-makers. 
Buchanan understood that voters would never accept kleptocratic (libertarian) economics. So he proposed a stealth strategy of which Brexit is an excellent example - kleptocratic goals wrapped in a patriotic nationalist package.
Charles Tannock when he was a Tory MEP wrote of a conversation with a leading Brexiter suggesting their ambition is to destroy all multilateral world bodies including the EU and the WTO and eventually the UN and NATO.
The destruction of multilateral world bodies, like the crippling or destruction of democracies, makes a great deal of sense if your goal is the replacement of democracy with the rule of the super-rich as outlined by William Rees-Mogg and James Buchanan.
There is no centralised conspiratorial organisation, but there is an ad hoc international network of wealthy & powerful individuals and organisations all sharing the view that democracies are parasites which should be weakened or destroyed.
So we must always look beyond the local battle over Brexit to understand what our adversaries are trying to achieve. And one of their primary goals is to undermine trust in the institutions and the expert knowledge that underpins democracy.
