2/ Notably @marcthiessen seemingly got this canard from the White House so quickly that he didn't notice that it was in 2018 not 2019. Here's his column from yesterday which simply says it was from "May".
3/ In other words, Trump and Marc don’t understand the difference between a lawful investigation overseen by an acting attorney general and criminal extortion. Which means that I’m now saying things that are obvious and should probably conclude this thread.

2/ Times continues to have a deep problem of credibility on this story, which is umbilically tied to its never addressed decision to launder right wing propaganda funded by Steve Bannon in 2016. @deanbaquet should address. Great paper shld be held to high standards.
3/ Also @TPM is always looking for new journalistic challenges and revenue opportunities. So I would be willing to discuss a contract in which @nytimes outsourced the defunct public editor brief to @TPM.

Critical point here is that the MSM is claiming that #Sanders "came within a handful of votes" of #HillaryClinton, when he lost in a landslide of 4M votes, 1k pledged delegates (not SDs) and a dozen states.
