A scary thing about imagining a world after Hair Furor is just... how hard it's going to be to put this stuff back together. How much expertise has been lost, how many processes have been destroyed and the people who understood them scattered.
I've said before how he couldn't divest himself of his company because his company... doesn't exist. It's a markerboard covered with post-it notes representing different "companies" he created, nothing is written down that doesn't need to be, a lot is only known to him.
He has been doing that to the government, to our government. Replacing expertise with sycophancy, processes with people willing to simply interpret his whims and implement his will.
No one is documenting all the damage. No one's in a position to see all of it. We won't find out all the long-term harm done until much longer down the road, when it comes up.
