The whistleblower complaint has been released. It lays out not only the details of Trump's July 25 phone call but also a pattern of efforts to keep the call secret, and identifies several witnesses to the misconduct:

One key revelation: Officials removed records of the call and stored them in a "separate electronic system," which "underscored ... that White House officials understood the gravity of what had transpired"—and raises the question: What other records have been hidden this way?
Reminder: This whistleblower complaint, which was based on conversations with "more than half a dozen U.S. officials," was deemed "credible" and an "urgent concern" by the intel community's IG—only for the DOJ and acting DNI to withhold it from Congress.

Another key line in the whistleblower complaint: White House officials knew perfectly well what was going on, and had a "discussion ongoing" with White House lawyers about the possibility they had just witnessed an abuse of presidential power.

The quid pro quo was always there: "Play ball" with the president's bizarre and illegal demands, or risk jeopardizing Ukraine's relationship with the U.S. intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/…
