Stop.
Search.
Surveil.
Eavesdrop.
Frisk.
Arrest.
Charge misdemeanors.
Charge felonies.
Secure search & arrest warrants. Detain pretrial on unaffordable bail.
Issue orders of protection.
Subpoena.
Indict.
Enhance sentences.
Revoke pretrial release.
Revoke probation.
Deny parole.

Good point. In my defense, @nycsouthpaw, I saw this thread as an educational opportunity about how much pain can be inflicted based on hearsay.

But yes, a non hearsay admission would justify all the above. Plus a conviction.
And I was talking only about criminal proceedings. Open it up to civil. Hearsay is used to:

Evict.
Detain for immigration proceeding.
Issue guardianship of adults.
Issue guardianship of minors.
Take children into protective custody.
