So Boris Johnson is proposing a border between the Republic and Northern Ireland - only 5 miles away from@the border. It breaks the 2017 joint declaration, screws the Good Friday Agreement and will not happen 1/... but
It signals as I and others predicted he is going for "Brexit in Name Only" - pay any price to get out by 31/10 ... leaving the future trade relationship between UK and EU completely up for grabs... this explains why he's so pissed if at the Benn Act...

5/ So behind all the ideology there is a serious choice facing us which was not a real choice in 2016, before: to be in America's trading orbit - or Europe's - and if the latter, to have power or to surrender power?...
7/ Johnson and the pro-Trump hedge founders and white nationalists see BRINO as phase one; phase 2 is to become a vassal state of the USA through a trade agreement - which will solidify the Irish border as two systems diverge...

9/ as Johnson's half baked Brexit proposals dribble out it's clear what a big defeat for him the Benn Act and the Supreme Court ruling were - without them, there would now be a relentless bandwagon for BRINO ... instead...
10/ As I told my friends in Frankfurt: Johnson is powerless, nothing he promises can be delivered, and the questions are closing in on him over potential malfeasance. Nothing he says at or before EUCO can be trusted. Finally...
11/ Any Labour MP who wants to risk a return to armed conflict in Northern Ireland just to appease a few xenophobes in their constituency does not deserve to keep the Labour whip ENDS
