In iOS 13.1, Apple re-enabled the option of launching specific Settings sections via URLs and the Shortcuts app.

So I tried to document all these URLs.

Here are 120 URLs that launch specific pages or sub-sections of the Settings app.

I have always wanted to offer a comprehensive guide to all the `prefs:root` URLs supported by iOS. I'm glad Apple re-enabled this feature, and I hope they won't kill it again.

Great news for all those running homebridge who want to test iOS 12.2′s HomeKit changes with a webOS TV: github.com/merdok/homebri…

(I’m going to mix and match both old and new configs)
Here’s my mixed setup for TV control via HomeKit: the new TV accessory in iOS 12.2 (featuring remote) + homebridge-webos-tv with custom switches for inputs, specific TV channels, and a slider for volume.

Best of both worlds so far, and I can control everything on my TV.

Apple's response to the worst known iOS attack in history should be graded somewhere between "disappointing" and "disgusting".

First off, disputing Google's correct use of "indiscriminate" when describing a watering hole attack smacks of "it's ok, it didn't hit white people."
The use of multiple exploits against an oppressed minority in an authoritarian state makes the likely outcomes *worse* than the Huffington Post example a former Apple engineer posited. It is possible that this data contributed to real people being "reeducated" or even executed.
Even if we accept Apple's framing that exploiting Uyghurs isn't as big a deal as Google makes it out to be, they have no idea whether these exploits were used by the PRC in more targeted situations. Dismissing such a possibility out of hand is extremely risky.

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

Here is our prediction for how Apple will support reading NFC tags in iOS 12. This theory was developed after much research of publicly available information. Please follow along and ask any questions.

If you haven't been following, Apple added an NFC controller to the iPhone 7 to enable Apple Pay (contactless payments). It wasn't until iOS 11 that support for reading NFC tags was added. That was a huge deal for the NFC industry.

However there are some significant limitations in iOS 11 for NFC tags. The most significant of which is that (1) a 3rd party app is required and (2) the user experience requires an explicit user interaction to read NFC tags. More in link here...
