A tale of an organization:

A man led a company with a "fighting" style. That worked as a start up but as the company matured it led to all sorts of problems. Competitors fought back & it got dirty.

1/
Employees adopted this fighting mentality and a culture of infighting developed. There were turf wars. It stifled growth and problem solving. Soon the once powerful company fell behind. Competitors were overtaking them. Employees were leaving.

2/
One day a new man came to lead the company. All of the problems of the company were still there. But instead of fighting he worked to find solutions. He built bridges. He rewarded partnership.

3/
In a short time the company was flourishing like it hadn't in decades. The results were directly tied to HOW this man got things done. Even more so than WHAT his plans were.

4/
Leadership isn't just about strategies and plans. It is how you motivate people to a common cause. It is how you inspire diverse people to work towards a shared goal.

5/
Comparing leadership styles is not only fair but a critical assessment of who we decide to elect to the most powerful leadership position in our country.

6/
It isn't sexist. It isn't an attack. It is vetting. It is part of the application process to be a leader. If you want a better government be a better participant in the process. Stop being tribal. Examine your own biases and judgments when you have a strong reaction.

7/
We give too much credit and place to much blame on others. If we want better leaders lets start being better voters.
