Vatican police reportedly raided the offices of the Holy See’s Secretariat of State and its Financial Information Authority in what appears to be some sort of financial-related investigation.
Today, 5 Vatican employees were suspended, including Tommaso Di Ruzza, the director of the AIF, Monsignor Mauro Carlino, the head of documentation at the Secretariat of State, and 3 others who did work at the Secretariat of State office.

I’m not saying nor implying that Trump had anything to do with the Vatican raids, but I just had to post this here because, well, it still goes well with this thread’s theme.

Here’s what happened with one wind turbine that was supposed to save a bunch of money over 10 years (“when the wind blows”) that was funded with #NewJersey and federal tax dollars and was supposed to create US jobs, per an Obama infrastructure bill.
- “When the wind blows, it can power up to 600 homes

- it was supposed to be a “shovel ready infrastructure project” out of Obama’s 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act

- Construction delays due to red tape caused the US wind turbine supplier to back out
- Though Obama’s, infrastructure bill contained a “Buy American” clause, the town got an exception to use a company that partly built the turbines in Italy.

- Getting that exception caused more delays, of course

- It cost $5.6 million and US taxpayers paid $4.7 million for it.

Naif Abdulaziz M. Alfallaj, a Saudi citizen and former resident of Weatherford, Oklahoma, was sentenced for visa fraud and lying about his attendance in 2000 at Al Qaeda training camp al Farooq on his visa application. Al Farooq was a key terror training site leading up to 9/11.
The document from al Farooq on which his fingerprints were found was recovered from an Al Qaeda safehouse in Afghanistan.
He also used his fraudulently obtained US visa to apply for flight lessons at a private flight school in Oklahoma in October, 2016.
