The call reportedly took place on July 26. That's two days after Mueller testified, two days after Johnson took office, and one day after Trump's now-infamous phone call with Zelensky. And a few days later, Bill Barr made a follow-up visit.

Trump likes to (falsely) claim that Mueller totally exonerated him. So why did he apparently spend the days after Mueller testified calling up world leader after world leader to pressure them for help attacking the investigation?

The White House tried to block Fiona Hill from testifying yesterday.
She did it anyway, describing how Rudy Giuliani "ran a shadow foreign policy in Ukraine that circumvented U.S. officials and career diplomats in order to personally benefit Trump."
