The US economy added +136k jobs in September, somewhat lower than already subdued expectations. The unemployment rate fell to 3.5%, the lowest rate since December 1969.
Jobs gains were focused in health care (+39k), professional and business services (+34k), government (+22k), and transportation and warehousing (+16k). Retail lost -11k jobs. Other sectors, including manufacturing, were largely unchanged.
Prior month job gains were revised upwards by +45k. That puts average monthly job gains so far this year at +161k, down from +223k for (all of) 2018.

1-Gas Infrastructure Development Cese (GIDC) was announced in 2011 by Zardari government to collect extra tax/fee for Iran-Pakistan Gas pipeline.

2-CNG station owners, businessmen and other traders went to court and got a stay order
3-CNG stations never collected this from public, others did in fear that one day they will lose the case and have to pay back.

4-2015 High Court announced it in the favor of businessman and government lost the case.

5-It is still under review in SC and so far govt
had not received a single paisa.

6-Over the course of 8 years, it is estimated that businessmen are supposed to pay RS 700 Billion

7-Govt strikes a deal to get RS 400 Billion (instead of 0 RS) in return to end the fee by law and withdraw the case.

A small thread on India's unemployment crisis follows.
I first started writing about the crisis around half a decade back. At that point of time, people did not take what I was saying seriously. Now they are.
One news item that makes it to the media over and over again, is of lakhs of people applying for a few hundred or a few thousand government jobs. If this does not show the unemployment crisis, the question is what does?

At that point, I knew I wanted to be part of making things in the tech industry. At that (very late) point, I switched my major to Symbolic Systems.
