Here's the problem with the Corbyn vs Government of National Unity discussion: Corbyn doesn't have the numbers, with or without the LibDems.
A GNU (real one ie made up of MPs from ALL parties) on the other hand could well have the numbers.

A Labour government is not a "Government of National Unity" if Cabinet is only composed of Labour MPs (which is what Corbyn and McDonnell want).
A GNU would include Tory and Labour and SNP and LibDem and PC and Change UK TIG MPs in the Cabinet. Corbyn and McDonnell refuse this.

Given Corbyn's lack of numbers *and* Corbyn's unwillingness to countenance a GNU, he is the primary obstacle in the way of a GNU forming.
