Health update: The swelling was getting to my tongue and going back towards the danger zone. I would have had to go to the hospital to make sure that I would not start to suffocate. The swelling was getting really bad. So I know this is odd, but my contacts said to take
activated charcoal. What that has to do with swollen lymphnodes and increasing swelling in the area, who knows, but I do have organic activated charcoal on hand at all times. Since ALS is really more of a poisoning from environmental factors, that is why I have to have it handy.
So after two doses of the activated charcoal, I can talk clearly again. Swelling has gone down to the point where I can at least not be in imminent danger of suffocating. I do feel a lot better too. The fever broke, and things are getting better. I know they are helping some from
the other side as well. But activated charcoal as a cure for swelling is not something I would have guessed, especially since I am always so careful with everything that comes into the house. But cannot complain with the results so far. I still have too much swelling in my neck
and throat area to where swallowing food is a no can do, but I can get by on liquid only until the rest of the swelling goes away. Let's just hope I can find what caused that, so I can avoid it in the future.
