So I went into a pizza spot I like Monday and noticed their video about sending supplies to Mexico & Puerto Rico when both faced natural disasters in 2017. I half-jokingly asked myself, could the owner be as nice as they seem? Well, it turns out his New York story is inspiring.
Shaken by the disgusting murders of homeless men, and as a former homeless person himself, he brought pizzas to the memorial:
Fresh boxes of hot pizza were stacked at each memorial. And with them, a note. “I wish with all my heart that I could have been there at that very moment to protect all of you guys.”
