2) i remember my first day of “pre-school” like it was yesterday because it didn’t happen. i put up such a fit that i didn’t let my mom leave me there until the 3rd or 4th try. i couldn’t understand why she was abandoning me and leaving me with people i’d never met. was three 🤷♂️
3) by elementary school i asked my parents why i had to leave them and go to school. they told me it’s illegal not to. i said…. why? they fed me an answer and i accepted it. off i went, most of the day for most of the year, being “taught” about the world and how it works...
4) it was fine, i bought into it. got good grades. spent a lot of my free time “studying” for “tests” and exams. after all, i needed a good “education” to get a good “job” because that’s just how the world works! bear with me here....
5) well now here i am in the present. seeing everyone around me being mostly miserable and hating their jobs which they’ve worked so hard to get. think about that… we spend most of our childhood learning to sit still at a desk. now look at us. and we PAY for "higher education"??
6) ANYWAY…. here we arrive at my first point. we normalized this lifestyle. we normalized men AND women going off to work. we all need to work, work, work or society will view us as unsuccessful, and you wouldn’t want that! so now think about how much depends on our teachers...
7) they partially raise the youth. but guess what… teachers have almost NO autonomy despite what you may think. they only get to decide HOW they teach government mandated “common core” knowledge and the “best” teachers are the ones who produce the “best” gov't mandated results..
8) so we no longer have teachers. we have “instillers” and the worst part is they are proving to be some of the most brainwashed individuals on the planet (not all of them!), and especially at universities. so let’s move on to police....
9) how hard is it to be a police officer in 2019?? body cameras, irregular reporting of results, you make the wrong mistake…. then you’re CANCELLED. you may never work again. so we are losing some damn good, smart police officers who won’t (understandably) take that risk...
10) so here’s the point of this thread. i’m advocating for at least recognizing the American brain has been hijacked. if you are able, stop giving in to the backwards land policies which are destroying freedoms. call B.S. when you see it. and ALWAYS continue to think for yourself
