Politicians using terms like 'pregnant people', 'people who menstruate' and 'cis women' instead of just saying WOMEN must surely be offensive to actual women...

Imagine being afraid to say the word 'woman'.

2019 is a joke.
Next to this and allowing males to crush females in their own sports, I'm convinced I'm more of a 'feminist' than they are.

It's so bizarre... 😂
These are the same people who will talk about how 'It's time for a female president!'

But they can't even clearly define what a 'female' is...

I still haven't been to Chick-fil-A yet...

I've heard they marinate their chicken in bigotry, season the fries with homophobia and close on Sundays to beat their least productive staff members.

I'll have to investigate these rumours because I've heard it's delicious though.

When viewed through an intersectional lens, it suggests the power dynamic is tilted to exploit the labour of women of colour as a patriarchal tool of white supremacy. 🤔

People in the USA are literally out there trying to erode their own constitution. The very thing that sets America apart.

You've (eventually) created one of the most free countries in the world and people are tirelessly working to ruin it.

As a foreigner, that's wild to me. 😂
In the UK, people can be investigated by the police for mean tweets, or arrested for making jokes. These things happen.

Meanwhile in China, the government dictates how many children you can have and who can use public transport.

Uphold your constitution. Trust me.
Europe is dope. I love many countries in Europe.

But they're not the USA. It is a unique place and personally I think that's awesome.

In the trans community, some of us refer to passing as "passing privilege." Why? Because it's a fucking privilege, like white privilege is.

Saying that the mere existence of another group endangers that privilege is, therefore, privileged bullshit.

This is a controversial take, but for that reason I am absolutely opposed to the idea of normalizing "passing" at all. If you identify as a woman, you ARE what a woman looks like. Period. Societal expectations of "passing" screen out CIS women, FFS.

Imagine you are 14yo and you think you might be a lesbian. You go to the LGBT group at your school and are told that MTFs are valid lesbians and you must include them in your dating pool or else youre a bigot.

This chid never had a chance to accept their homosexuality
Imagine youre a 15yo lesbian who is kinda butch. Every time you walk into a LGBT/Queer space, ppl ask you your pronouns, assuming that bc youre a non feminine female, you must not be a woman.

Eventually they will be asked “when are you going to transition?” bc theyre GNC
Imagine that you’re a 16yo lesbian who cant invision yourself with a woman unless youre a man. Your Queer Community will tell you, you’re truly a man on the inside. No one helps you question your aversion or confusion about homosexuality.
