Oh yea….Another rejoicing piece about Social Impact Bonds.

This time by Ruben Koekoek (Social Finance NL) who is/are behind most Dutch SIBs.

Koekoek completely ignores a world; the 'target group' for which the SIBs are being set up.

The jobless, the (chronically) sick, the poor, refugees, the disabled, debtors, the homeless. He does not mention them in his piece.

Koekoek is (obviously) only concerned with a.o. the 'transparency' of the SIBs, which in turn would benefit (promote) those SIBs. Correction; three parties benefit from the SIBs.

The 'target group' has no voice, no input nor power. They are not relevant to the SIB designers, while profits are made on their backs (their bodies, brains, life, no room for self-determination, collectivism et al).

SIBs are not a 'solution' to poverty and exclusion. SIBs are gross top-down (hyper capitalist) constructions.

SIBs are yet another 'playground' for the super-rich, for philanthropists. For companies and neoliberal (local) governments.

SIBs uphold poverty and exclusion (systemic violence).

SIBs do not abolish harmful social/economic constructions.

Cut this crap, fight the SIBs!
