As a desperate dude, I once gave an attractive bartender I wanted $300 as a tip so she'd go out with me.

She never did.

It's not about what you give or do for her, it's about who you are.
Men seem to think that if they're "nice" or give her something, she'll see them as special.

3 years later, I asked the bartender what she thought when I gave her that tip. She said she thought I was a desperate chump.

I knew that's what she'd say.
Now, the tips are normal and the service is better.

Not because of anything else I did except understand that me respecting and putting myself first makes everyone else around me have more respect for me.

You can't negotiate other's respect for you.
I spent thousands of dollars trying to impress girls to go out with me.

And I'll tell you what, I really miss those thousands of dollars.

Because the girls couldn't care less.
