Message to Biden and Buttigieg: it's fine to critique her policies, but if you're armchair-quarterbacking Warren being angry at this moment in history (especially as one of you is talking about "beating Trump like a drum"), consider that that's some gendered bullsh*t right there.
1/ Pete has every right to criticize other candidates for being angry, because that's not the road he's taking or his philosophy, but the angriest-sounding person in the race is Joe Biden, and that's by far, and if Pete is implying it's Warren he needs to take a deep look inside.
2/ My view is, any candidate trying their hardest *not to seem angry* at this moment in history is going to seem a little false/detached to me, and any 70-something man yelling violent tropes is turning me off 100%, whether it's Trump or Biden. Joe needs to become himself again.
3/ Upshot: If you're paying attention to *anything* right now, you *should* be angry. And if you want people to vote for you, you should be transparent enough to let people see your genuine self, including its anger. And if you're going to be angry, that anger must be generative.
4/ Elizabeth Warren is 100% appropriately, generatively angry, and anyone who wants to attack her better find ways to do it that meet her righteous anger on the field of focused, responsible level-headedness her anger resides upon—which is where it *should* reside in *all* of us.
