2/ agencies and they eventually go back. That’s true as far as it goes. But he was asked a pretty specific question about whether Vindman was losing his job over the testimony. If he is not it’s pretty easy to say, no he’s not. No NSC appointments from any of these agencies ...
3/ are permanent. So noting that they eventually cycle out doesn’t need to be said and it obviously makes it sound like he’s being canned. Now Vindman’s lawyer has told CBS that as far as he knows his client still has a job.
4/ Not that he adds that it would be wrong or a sign of retaliation if he didn’t. (I’m not totally sure thats accurate in terms of retaliation.) But this doesn’t seem quite settled by his lawyers statement. I think it just means that as far as they know he still has his position.
