Trump’s mention of “tapes” is an apparent reference to Biden’s comments in January 2018 about his effort to get #Ukraine to force out its CORRUPT pro-#Russia🇷🇺prosecutor general, Viktor Shokin, who was widely criticized for NOT fighting #corruption.🤬

After the #Ukrainegate call, #Vindman reported his concerns to NSC lawyer, John Eisenberg who immediately ordered the #transcript moved to a SECRET SERVER to “prevent gossip and leaks about the call.”

Putting the call in the secure server BLOCKED further edits from being made.🙄

The rough transcript also contains ellipses at 3 points where Trump is speaking: at the point of the transcript where 3rd set of ellipses appear Trump said there were tapes of Biden’s comments at Jan ‘18 event on his effort to get Ukraine to force out prosecutor general Shokin.
Possible why Vindman’s changes were not made was that the transcript had been quickly placed into a highly secure computer system, the NSC Intelligence Collaboration Environment, or NICE system.
Eisenberg ordered the transcript moved to ensure unauthorized people couldn’t see it.

Schiff says he was “appalled” by the attacks on Vindman, singling out remarks made last night on Laura Ingraham’s Fox show.
Schiff on Republicans asking Vindman who he spoke to in the White House:

“The president's allies would like nothing better than to out this whistleblower. Our committee will not be a part of that. We will not stand for that.”

BREAKING: Fiona Hill told House impeachment investigators that she had at least two meetings with NSC lawyer John Eisenberg about Rudy Giuliani’s Ukraine efforts, according to a person with direct knowledge of her testimony. Both meetings were at the urging of Bolton.

First meeting was July 10 with NSC lawyer John Eisenberg. Second was July 11 with Eisenberg again.

Hill expressed concern that the U.S. wasn’t doing enough to combat Russian aggression & that it was opening the door for other countries to interfere in our elections, too.
