It seems two opposition parties have forgotten to read their minority government handbook. We have a minority government and two leaders are throwing their weight around and making demands on the Liberals to include their party’s priorities. cbc.ca/news/politics/…
CPC & NDP. Both pulling in diametrically opposite directions.

Wasn’t Singh all about cooperation? Hah! He meant cooperating with NDP. He didn’t mean meeting in the middle, which is what Liberal policies are. Compromising some priorities, for now, to address others immediately.
Singh wants it all and wants it now! A fourth place minority party making demands and threatening a non confidence vote. Maybe the “vote your conscience” strategy he promoted wasn’t such a good idea after all.

Go ahead Mr. Singh, call another election. On a throne speech.
Not even a budget, just a throne speech.

If Mr. Singh doesn’t get his demands met, he’s going to call an election a month after we just spent millions voting in October.

That should increase his penniless party’s chances of winning extra seats! Sure!
Has every opposition party leader lost their minds? They think they have the deciding vote to control the Liberal mandate?

I look forward to Singh being handed his behind back to him on a platter after tomorrow’s meeting with Trudeau.
He’s not in charge. And his fourth place win means he’s lost his power to Bloc Québécois. Trudeau can and will manage without NDP support if required.

Perhaps the meaning of the word cooperation needs to be reviewed.
Working together to meet common goals.

It does not mean using extortion to achieve outcomes requested by a minority of the population.

Ask Mr. Trump. He’s currently learning extortion is frowned upon in governance.

Stop holding Canadian’s ransom to your demands NDP & CPC.
