Right now, operatives on the left, from NDP (seemingly) are spreading disinformation.

Take a look and see what they are saying. It’s preposterous.

They are accusing Trudeau and Freeland of engineering the coup or at least supporting it, in Bolivia.
100% false information. This is how left operatives are damaging progressive faith in LPC as a party. I assume it’s fake progressives. Or NDP supporters who have been brainwashed.

This needs to stop and be called out.
LPC is NOT supporting the violence being perpetrated in Bolivia. And @NDP better clarify this soon. They need to speak to their MP’s and stop spreading disinformation meant to smear and damage the LPC party.

No Canadian political party supports a violent coup.

Some of us don’t find it very funny what the Fed NDP and GPC did to the last election. They robbed Alberta & western progressives from federal representation by splitting the vote with their rhetoric about superior morals.
Maybe examining your rhetoric for its accuracy and stepping off the pedestal you’ve elected yourself to preside over the rest of us progressives might provide some clarity.

Get your head out of the clouds.

Albertan progressives have dealt with far right miscreants for 85 years. This is where they gather because of the oil wealth.

Maybe your political observations aren’t as astute as you like to give yourself credit.

There's a lot of pretty bad takes on #Bolivia happening now, and fortunately some goods ones (see comments). Quick thoughts: 1. Right now the most concerning aspect is the far-right racist even fascistic violence occurring, and total disrespect of constitutional order 1/
2) Govt ministers are literally being forced to flee and resign due to threats to themselves and their families. 3) The military is what led Morales to resign, so pretending they aren't involved or that their involvement isn't incredibly problematic is shortsighted at best 2/
4) There were many legitimate critiques of Morales and the recent election and legit questions to ask but 5) Thinking the OAS is a neutral or fair player is crazy, as @AleVelascoNYU has correctly pointed out; 6) The future looks very, very scary right now 3/

No matter the outcome Monday I will never forgive #Scheer, #HamishMarshall & their cadre who have acted like pondscum, knowing they had nothing of substance - ir they couldn't hit the #Libs on economic record - they opted for a very American campaign of unrelenting lies
knowing that the sheer volume would overwhelm & create suspicion, sneak under the cognitive brain & stick in subconscious. They appealed to the very worst instincts & fears of Cdns & slyly courted votes from racists, homophobes, anti-abortion nuts & more dangerous types.
They did this consciously, a shamelessly hypocritical & pandering deathbed conversion to caring about womens rights, Indigenous people, people of colour - as long as they could weaponize it against #Trudeau w/warheads of bullshit.

One of them is #cherrypicking, where only certain pieces of information are chosen to sell your argument.

Sometimes this presentation is done purely for sensationalism.

Take this Dan Scavino post Trump re-tweeted:
2/8 Seizing upon this shocking potential revelation, numerous news outlets are broadcasting it as if it were a lock, a definite thing, but if you look more closely at the articles themselves, it turns out to be anything but.
3/8 The numbers come from Moody's Analytics, a poll alla re swift to note has been accurate for 40 years... except in 2016.

That's a very recent & sizable blunder, & though they insist taking into account surprise turnout patterns resolves the issue, it leaves room for doubt.

Wed morning I replied to "Canada Proud" BS story about #Trudeau being anti-veteran (despite him re-opening the 9 VA offices Harper shut) w/my opinion that they r disinformation group & racists. Later their alleged lawyer @rpoconnor tweeted demand I delete "Libellous" (sic) tweet
First, the irony of being called 'libelous' by a group that thrives on making such statements & had just made one. Then lawyer @rpoconnor got piled on by my online posse & deleted the tweet & blocked me. Is he withdrawing his complaint? Or cowering?
To be fair, I don't know for sure if Canada Proud is an officially racist organization, only that it publishes what are considered anti-immigration screeds online & has its events attended by groups of racists claiming to be members. Walk like a duck, quack like a duck?
