Mostly what I stream on YouTube is CatTV, bird, squirrels, and mice to entertain my cat. She growls at commercials which I think is hilarious. For whatever reason, most commercials are Bernie.
So, she's sleeping on my lap and I am watching MSNBC and they play a snip of Bernie saying something, and in her sleep, she reflexively growls at Bernie's voice. I laughed so hard I woke her up.
She just walked across the keyboard and in addition to typing, "a
ds[p-assssssssssssssssskllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllhjnmk,/l.'''" a window popped up to say AlienWare High Performance Mode enabled. What does that even mean?
My computer is not AlienWare, as far as I know. It's a Dell.

When the media applauds and amplifies a "movement" ask yourself why. What was Occupy's agenda, what were they asking for? What was it other than an outlet for undirected rage?

They were praised so much for not having a specific agenda. Who benefited from that?
When the economy collapsed due to the fraud, greed, and fecklessness of big banks, hedge funds, and other investors there was outrage on the left and the right. On the right, the Tea Party organized electorally. On the left, Occupy organized performance art.
The Tea Party elected people who empowered the wealthy and gave them tax cuts. Occupy didn't support candidates or even specific legislation, so all they did was take progressive outrage and direct it to pointless public performance

You can read the story. There is not one sentence by anyone expressing disdain for Miller. They express disdain for the idea that Trump would get rid of him for being a white nationalist. They defend him. They say criticism in anti-Semitic, so why the "WH Hates Miller"
They don't hate his racist crap and the author provides not one sentence to suggest they do. They are working for Trump and they cannot wash off the taint for cocktail parties

I wonder how many who are saying they prefer this or that media-approved candidate really wants that candidate with a whole heart or have they been browbeaten by three years or false narratives about 2016 to support the candidate they really want.
Far too many are chasing after the white working-class voter who 'abandoned Democrats because Clinton didn't talk about jobs and the economy.' The top three words in her speeches were workers, economy, and jobs.

It is a knowing and deliberate lie to say Clinton did not talk about the economy - a deliberate lie to deflect from the simple fact they did not cover Clinton's policies at all.

It draws crowds, rather than scares people away. Especially when they're not firing gas or rubber bullets indoors - which they've only done once, afaik.

Nearly everyone heckles HK cops now. "Black cops," "triads," and "police know the law but break it" are staples.
Cops shout and curse back (@Woppa1Woppa does great translations and dubbing). But cops just got an injunction that makes insulting cops illegal, so they can arrest you for that now. There's only been a few so far. No one's gone to trial over it yet.

They don't understand when you tell them no, it wasn't them.

I think Elizabeth Warren is going to win the Democratic nomination and go on to beat Trump to be the first female President of the United States.
I've donated to Warren, spread her positive qualities and even do some neighborhood running in my Warren shirt (tired in this pic!) to raise awareness. One of her bumper stickers is even going on my car!
I prefer Bernie to her (and all others) just slightly due to some economic and foreign policy differences (those who say they're nearly identical on policy aren't correct, more on that in a sec) and his lifelong consistency, but she would make a fantastic President.
