This sculpture, currently on display at the Dallas Museum of Art, was stolen from a temple in Kathmandu, Nepal, in 1984 (thread with details).

@DallasMuseumArt This 15th century sculpture, 34” tall, was worshipped in the Narayan Temple in Patko Tol, near Durbar Square, Kathmandu. It is an image of Lakshmi-Narayana: half Narayan (a manifestation of Vishnu) and half Lakshmi (his consort).
@DallasMuseumArt Lain Singh Bangdel documented its 1984 theft in Stolen Images of Nepal (Royal Nepal Academy, 1989).

The status of Tibetans is uncertain, as Nepal has never signed the Geneva Convention and Protocol on refugees. In the past, some refugees have been stopped at the border, and under Chinese pressure the police has prevented anti-CCP demonstrations to be organized in Kathmandu.
Nepal's attitude is not enough for the CCP. They want the Tibetan refugees deported to China, starting with those who tell to international media the story of the atrocities they suffered in Tibet. Chinese media & pro-CCP Nepalese media started to claim they are “false refugees.”

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Nigeria @SECNigeria is the apex regulatory institution of the Nigerian capital market supervised by the @FinMinNigeria.

It regulates/develop the capital market to protect investors & enhance its allocative efficiency.
WHY ARE THEY COMING?

The N25bn bond had a prospectus registered with SEC before it was used to raise money from investors. It contains everything you need to know about the company issuing the bonds, what it will do with the money, and the terms of the investment.

1) Il définit les principes que les institutions doivent défendre
2) Il définit l’architecture des institutions devant défendre les principes vus au 1
Conséquences pratiques:
3) les principes intangibles définis en 1) sont de facto retirés du débat démocratique: la majorité ne peut pas, par exemple, voter l’inégalité en droit de certains citoyens, parce que la constitution consacre cette égalité.
