Truth is, you know in your heart when you hurt and what makes you happy. If you look to society’s expectations or live your life based on what others will think, you can and most likely will fail your own happiness.

When my “situation” was hot, everyone came with their unsolicited judgement of how MY life should be lived, but guess what, since it all cooled down, not a single one of them has come back to say “hey T, are you ok?” Imagine if I had shaped MY life based on their opinion. 🥴
Bottom line is, do what makes you happy. Live a happy and healthy life (mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually). There is no blue print to life. Do your best and learn from the rest. Those forming judge today will move on and you’ll be left with your life to live.
I am the happiest I have been in over a decade. The things I worried about then, things that engulfed my entire existence and made me lose who I was, are no longer my problem. I would never trade my happiness & peace of mind for the title Mrs.
When u know your worth, it makes it so much harder for anyone to treat you like less than what you are and give you less than what you deserve. Only a man who is worthy of my love will inspire me to take on the role of his Mrs and when that happens, he will be more than worth it
