I told you about 3 weeks ago, that Trump Tweets changed abruptly and totally. Since then he's had maybe 3 or 4 lapses of only a few Tweets. Someone is HANDLING him. Now this Afghanistan visit? Is SMART POLITICS for 2020. Trump is being managed by someone competent (& is scared)

There is some very smart discussion in this monster-long thread of nearly 200 replies. Worth reading (most) of them and just block the occasional Trump troll that got into the mix... :-)

I wanted to touch on the Rocky Balboa fake Tweet. Note this is RADICAL change in two ways. First it is a 'return to Trump classic' from BEFORE 2016. Yes it is vile bragging and obvious blatant lie. That is typical Trump, the bankrupted broke guy who claims to be a Billionaire

The Rocky picture is pathetic in that he makes such an OBVIOUS lie about his body. And does it without shame, into the public domain. At least when Putin went bare-chested, he was showing his OWN chest. And Obama caught on the beach was in a swimming suit in the Hawaii: valid

But understand the RADICAL change in Rocky fake image type of Tweet. It is bizarre obvious lie. BUT it is not the petty vile paranoid vengeful attack Tweets that Trump Presidency first 3 years were full of. In Rocky Trump lies & brags, but isn't attacking anyone: radical change

Secondly, many of you in the comments mentioned ANOTHER angle to the sudden and utterly out-of-character Trump. The 'sane' Trump. The law forbidding cruelty to animals (hello? Beavis & Butthead Trump?). The Hong Kong proclamation. The return of US troops to fight ISIS...

When we will examine this period (late Nov 2019 onwards) in Trump Presidency, it will be like the 'Evil Spock' episode in Star Trek. The upside-down world. This will seem (in some but not all ways) like the 'kinder gentler' saner Trump, or 'leses insane' or 'alternately insane'

Also wanted to talk a bit about 'who'. Note it is a DIFFERENT matter, of who is MANAGING Trump, & who sends Tweets in Trump's name

Whoever sends the Happy Diwali type of generic Tweets is a staffer, a White House lackey. I don't care who that is.

I was speculating around the start of Impeachment hearings that Trump will suddenly stop Tweeting 'confessions' once he sees the Tweets will be used as evidence. I think it is VERY possible whoever 'convinced' Trump to do the self-destructive Tweets is an ATTORNEY (or troika)

Obviously when I say 'attorney' I don't mean the notorious butt-dialer & alleged attorney Giuliani. But some SANE lawyer, or possibly a TROIKA of lawyers got Trump to stop Tweeting. Sekulow? Barr? Cipollone? (all three)

PS Cipollone is working overtime to get Lick Mulvaney fired

i think whoever it was (am suddenly very strongly leaning towards Cipollone..) who got Trump to stop fury-Tweeting his rage, got Trump to accept a 'compromise' Trump MAY select RETWEETS of others - this keeps Trump LEGAL jeopardy out of danger zone ...
