Jay Sekulow, the President's attorney, counseled Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about communications between the Trump campaign/org and Russia, and instructed that he shouldn't "contradict the President" in his responses.
Sekulow also Sideshow Bobbed it, claiming Cohen didn't need to tell Congress the truth about the Trump Tower Moscow deal because, "So what? [The] deal never happened."

The minority's most outrageous lie is also its most important defense of Trump: that what happened with the WH meeting and the security assistance was maybe a little messy, maybe a little rougher around the edges than usual, but still just government as usual.

It wasn't.
Witness testimony gives us a deeply-sourced and crystal-clear account of a mad king's unfathomable order, and a resilient bureaucracy's response.

But though federal agencies initially responded to the President's order as if it was irrational, it wasn't. Just corrupt.

This is some insane shit, yet more compelling than anything GOP has come up with so far.

But you'd think @JoshMBlackman and @SethBTillman would at least hesitate before advancing a defense of Trump so radical that no House or Senate Republican has yet to offer it themselves.

In case you're wondering, the line terminates without answering if you try to call it.
Lmao, Giuliani thought this was the number of a Trump official, because it's what showed up on his phone when the official called him. But it's not a real phone number, it's just a number that some outgoing Exec Branch calls show up as on the call logs.
So Giuliani would keep trying to call this fake number, the call wouldn't work, and then he'd finally give up and called Madeleine Westerhout's line – listed as "White House Switchboard (Sit Room)".

Which means the "OMB number" is almost certainly Trump himself.

I’m outside the @UF auditorium where @DonaldJTrumpJr will speak at 7 p.m. Not a lot going on yet, but people are starting to show up. There are #Trump T-shirt’s and MAGA hats. @TB_Times
Looks like @GainesvillePD is helping @UFPublicSafety with security. The university hasn’t answered my questions about how many police officers will be present. But UF is paying the bill, per the contract with @DonaldJTrumpJr.
These guys have @realDonaldTrump flags. So far, it looks like there are more supporters than protestors.

Adelson used his access to move the embassy in Israel to Jerusalem and cut aid to Palestinians.
