Yes, children can get migraines. Yes, they really can be that bad. No, they aren't faking it. No, a migraine day does not count as a day off.

Wow this really resonated with people! Thank you for sharing your stories. I'm going to have to mute this now but a few things before I do...
A lot of what I do boils down to education. Neurological conditions are scary and confusing. I'm so glad that I get to help patients, families, and friends (like the people in this tweet) learn more about treating & living with them.
Btw, this kid is OK & her parent is OK (but maybe sick of doctor auntie Diana cussing them out with love)
