Quite right by @CamCavendish in the FT. Not just the ideology on both sides but the lack of credible thought about how to implement the ideology. 
My own top example, because it’s in my practice area: the Tories’ State aid plans - both incoherent in their own terms, and ignore the obvious problem that if they meant anything much they would scupper any deal the EU. prospectmagazine.co.uk/economics-and-…
NB none of this is to deny the need for radical change. But radical change requires the ability to prioritise, attention to the details (does your proposal actually work), and realism about the problems you will face and the choices you’ll have to make.
There’s also a lot in her suggestion here (assuming Johnson wins) that he should welcome a wider circle of advice than he is currently listening to. He will need to, if he is to have any hope of doing a deal that works.
